BLS for the Healthcare Provider- Renewal Class
Description: In this course, healthcare professional review life-threatening emergencies and how to provide CPR for those patients. Skills include one and two person CPR for adults, children, and infants with a bag valve mask.Students will also practice with an automated external difibrillator(AED). Lastly, we’ll cover the techniques to relieve an airway obstruction.
Length: Approximately 3-4 hours
Audience: For EMS personnel, P.A.s, doctors, dentists, nurses, respiratory therapists, and others in the medical field.
Class size: There is a 5 student minimum charge for class to be held.
Cost: $40.00
Certification: Students who complete this course receive a certificate good for 2 years

Skills Test for the BLS online course
Description: Healthcare professionals who’ve completed the AHA online BLS course can have their skills tested. A copy of your online course completion certificate is required.
Length: Approximately 1-2 hours
Audience: For EMS personnel, P.A.s, doctors, dentists, nurses, respiratory therapists, and others in the medical field who’ve completed the AHA online BLS course.
Class size: There is a 5 student minimum charge for class to be held.
Cost: $20.00

Heartsaver CPR/ AED
Description: In this course, first responders learn to recognize life-threatening emergencies and how to provide CPR for those patients. Skills include CPR for adults, children, and infants. Students will also practice with an automated external difibrillator(AED). Lastly, we’ll cover the techniques to relieve a person who’s choking.
Length: Approximately 3-4 hours
Audience: Guides, coaches, firefighters, law enforcement officers, teachers, office workers, families, and anyone who wants to be prepared.

CPR for Friends and Family
Description: This family friendly class teaches how recognize the signs of a medical emergency and how to respond. Hands on skills include CPR for all ages, use of an AED, and how to help a choking person.
Length: Approximately 2 hours
Audience: For all ages. This class is for anyone who wants to be prepared.
Class size: There is a 5 student minimum charge for class to be held.
